Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art (GI) is looking for enthusiastic, friendly and energetic volunteers to join the team in 2010. This is a great opportunity to be involved in some of the most exciting visual arts projects in Glasgow, improve your CV, meet new people and be part of a small active team. If you have time to spare between 16th April – 3rd May 2010 then we would love to hear from you (some opportunities start from 5th April).
We are looking for Welcome Desk/ Invigilator Volunteers, SPIN Tour Assistants, Artist Liaison Volunteers, a Set-Up Assistant, Team Leaders, Photographers/ Viral Video Volunteers and volunteers for the NVA/ White Bikes Project.
The deadline for applications is Sun 14th March for all other volunteers.
We can provide:
- Travel expenses within Glasgow up to £3.50/ day
- Lunch and refreshments up to £4.50/ day
- An induction on the Festival Programme
- Training and briefing sessions before you start
- Invitations to some Festival events
